You are correct - Win themed to look like 'buntu and w/ all opensource apps, there's another thread going on this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=555347. Some of the other guys have tried it and said it ain't bad. Certainly not the most legal thing out there, and they really can't call it truly open source as the source code is closed still, but I imagine it's a good thing for those of us who still need Win every now and then.

There is no way that's legal.... it's warez.... and I wouldn't be surprised if it comes with a few extra "goodies" as well.....

Uugggh... sooo ugly
Windows themes should never never NEVER be emulated.
If M$ sues the crap out of the designers of those themes for patent infringments, then for once I won't blame them.

maybe this designers aren't American, but anyway M$ would probably lose the case as they did with Lindows case!

I still stand by my prediction that at some point Microsoft will release some kind of Linux variant on their own. Ballmer can say what he wants about Linux, but the fact remains Linux is really starting to take off.
MS can either continue to making bloated, DRM laden software that runs only on higher end machines. Or jump on the ("smaller is better laptop band wagon") and develop a light weight Linux based OS that can run on these smaller laptops and desktops or find themselves out in the cold.

Hehe, that reminded me of MS LInux (http://www.mslinux.org/).

I wouldn't trust any of these remasters. I'd guess a very high number of them have keyloggers and trojans included.

I had this installed to my spare partition to try it out. It isn't too bad. Whatever you do, don't run a file system check. I installed ntfs-3g to work with it from opensuse, and suse told me there were some errors and I should run a file system check on windows. They must not have hacked that part because it totally screwed it up. When I tried to reboot it, it had several system32 files missing.
