This seems like a pretty silly problem, but I'm stumped.
I installed UT2004 just fine and patched it, and have been playing the single-player (because I suck). Then, I tried to play it online, but I discovered I couldn't!
When I click Join Game, it simply says my connection to the UT2004 master server has timed out, and even more shortly "connection timed out" when I click for the list of internet servers. However, I am able to use the built in IRC chat to join a channel and type to people. I already tried disabling my firewall (firestarter) because I thought it might be interfering, but that didn't help.
Other internet apps (firefox, ssh, etc) work fine.
I'm fairly new to linux, so I'm probably missing something obvious. Any suggestions?
