Just to set the scene..
i recently purchased a macbook 1.83 ghz 512 ram and i mainly got it because of the hardware as i love the style of macs and there reliabilty, and maybe to use os x at school for video editing in media lessons. I have been using os x now since i bought it and would like to go back to using just ubuntu (single boot) as it is the OS which i know and love . now, i have searched and only to seem problems with dual boot os x and ubuntu and want to know is it easy just to do a single boot?
also what drivers do i need for wireless and gfx card, iSight camera and mouse (as it has no right click) and what about not having a BIOS, does that cause any problems? grub work? I ran the live disc and the screen resoloution wan't right and i couldn't change it to the right one, what do i do about this?
if someone could give a runthrough of whats involved or point me to a thread on where i can get help. i just wanna know what setup is like, once its all set up i can go from there.
Thanks very much in advance.
