So, you have a blog and you want to know how many visitors you got, what OS and browser they are using and more info ?

1. Go to one of those sites and register :
http://www.branica.com or http://blogcounter.com , I'm sure there are more sites so take your pick.

2. After you registered you get a counter code, copy it.

3. Go to your blog and add a page element (via customize) - add HTML/JavaScript

4. Paste your counter code into HTML/JavaScript

5. SAVE and enjoy the counting !

You can go to your "counting site" and get more info, as which OS and Browsers are used and other info.

Just wondering why why this post is in an Ubuntu forum...

Because it might help some users.

Of course, I'm not saying it wouldn't, but it's not Ubuntu related. Same way I wouldn't post about how to write classes in php in this HOWTO section.

There are many HOWTO's and guides here that are NOT related in any way to Ubuntu, why not use them ?

I'm not posting here "HOWTO : Make dinner" ... it is related to something that you might do using Ubuntu or any other OS.

Actually, I really miss a "HOWTO : Make dinner". It would be extremely helpful to many users, as well as me ;)

We need a "Bury" button, like on Digg.

So you don't think that there is a place on those forums for my HOWTO ?
Nice of you to say it, specially that I do it for free on my own time for the community.

If you don't like it, don't read it !

It is very sad that people like you spit in my face.
