upgrade to mysql 5.0.45 on feisty

There is a bug in mysql < 5.0.40 in the location of where logs are written. See http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=27070
The gutsy mysql version in 5.0.45. Is it possible to install this version on Feisty?
