Help! i just installed Ubuntu 7.04 using the Wubi-7.04.04 beta installer. On rebooting I chose Ubuntu but just get a black screen.
I can no longer go directly into Windows XP without selecting it first and everything has slowed down since installing Ubuntu.
Has anyone got any solutions for solving the Ubuntu black screen problem? If not, how do I remove Ubuntu from the hard disk altogether?

Sorry I can't really answer your question, but if you give your post a more informative title, I think somebody would be more likely to look and solve it....
That being said, maybe I can point you in the right direction.
If you download the ubuntu live cd .iso from the website and boot from it, do you have video output then? If so, perhaps you should install from the live cd as something may have gone wrong using wubi. I don't have any experience with the product, so I don't have any clue as to what it does or how.
What kind of video card do you use? What kind of monitor? There may be an issue with video drivers...

Black screen might mean that you miss a video driver, if you press alt+f2 do you get a console prompt?
You can uninstall ubuntu/wubi from add/remove programs
Wubi slowing down Windows is highly unlikely,
