Is it just me or is Tremulous massively unfair to the human side and very easy when you play as an alien?
I find it near impossible to actually hit one of the creatures when I play as a human.Where as all the aliens have to do is touch you and your dead.Am I the only person that thinks this way?Maybe I should only play as the aliens then I would never look like a bad player.
Is there a mod that would give Tremulous a single player because I like the engine.BTW my accuracy is normal on other games I think the game programmers made the aliens too small.I don't have a problem killing the big aliens just those little annoying ones.

I never really got into Tremulous, despite it being apparently quite popular. I recommend you read the PDF manual that comes with the game, at least I think it does last time I checked.

I used to have this problem too. I think you should aim in front of the dretches, not at them directly.

I've been away from gaming for 10 years. Got a new computer, downloaded tremulous. After a couple hours of playing (human side) I started figuring out how to kill the aliens. Now I kill at 1 or 2 before I die, on average. I don't have much of an idea for the level layout. Sometimes I find it really hard to dig out all the alien eggs. They can be buried in extremely hard-to-find places.

You have to aim in front of them, especially if you lag.
The dretches only have 25 health, the whole point is that they small and hard to hit. If they were any bigger (even if they were given more hp) than that would miss the whole point of having an agile, deadly but fragile alien class. And when every other human and alien class is about brute force, dretches make a nice change.
there is no balance against the skillfulness of the teams.

I have a harder time hitting humans as a dretch than the other way around.
