Flash problems?

I just reinstalled a fresh copy of ubuntu yesterday after I was having some problems, and now I've noticed that some flash games aren't working properly. The area where scores are, or text that appears before the start of levels isn't there now. I didn't have a problem with this before I reinstalled and I've installed the flash plugin for firefox so I don't know what the problem is. In about: plugins it says flash is enabled. Does anyone have tips on how to get flash to run with less flaws?

If text is missing from the flash movies, its possible that you don't have the font that it is trying to use. Try to install more fonts, spesifcally the windows ones. Instructions are either at ubuntuguide.org or on these forums somewhere.

That could be it. I haven't installed any fonts yet. I'll try that.
