For the dapper install I get an md5sum mismatch when apt-get update tries to download Packages.gz from tuxfamily.

Honestly, I have been having a hard time with the dapper repository. For some reason my apt-ftparchive generate is not working right. Hopefully I can get this straightened out tonight when I update the repository.

I tried this on the weekend, (Feisty) and even though looked asthough it all worked nothing started when I rebooted.

I also tried to create a login for the forum but got no response from the website.

Slim might not be set up by default and when you boot, you will probably get plain x + openbox. Anyways, you should get an email, but if you do not, please check your spam filter and trash and get back to me. If you have further problems with it, please send me the account name on the forums and I will try to get something working.

Hi Shae

Sorry I didn't get any email. But I will try sudo apt-get install slim.

I'm now running Gutsy, will this be a problem?

Thanks
