For kernel 2.6.22.6 (latest stable): http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ChangeLog-2.6.22.6

For the latest 2.6.23 release (still in testing): http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/testing/ChangeLog-2.6.23-rc6

http://kernel.org is the place to go for this type of stuff.

Hmm. Let's see

butter, libbutter, and butter-settings-manager are now installed by default
saltutils has been upgraded
Fixed issue with kernel panic causing explosion

You need a 3D driver to use butter

If you don't have the right drivers, it will make your keyboard greasy.

You're still using that old thing? Sheesh. All the cool kids have upgraded to this:

That Kernel looks like he's panicking. Might be best to stick with the old version for now.

D'oh. I think I used the wrong compiler. :(

Lool! That was a good one:lolflag:
Just be careful with the new version of butter, it's still Beta:lol:

Instructions for booting PopcornLinuxOS:
Insert kernel into microwave
Connect microwave to computer with the USB port
Activate microwave

Make sure that you have the correct GRUB code:
root (mic0,0)
kernel /boot/popcorn
boot

If it wants to hang on boot try using the noapop kernel parameter.

Hmm. The fried chicken kernel is also a good kernel. But it's known to be a bit flaky at times.:lolflag:

I guess these were the good old days. Anyway, this thread was the lowest I could find and necrobump. I won't make a habit of it...

Funny to see many of the same attitudes but completely different personel.

I think this thread is about the kernal, though. Has anybody seen the changelog for the latest?

it's a bit prone to panics
