We are seeing the future of technical support. It's great that you can download a restore disk from the web, without restrictions, and with patches. Cool indeed. Congratulations to Dell for moving in this direction.

That is indeed one advantage: not having to charge anything for recovery disks since licenses are free. It would make the jobs of us tech support front line agents a lot easier ( not having to deal with vista would make it even easier though )
