Vista isn't that bad, give it an actual try, i have had very few annoyances with it, no real problems as of yet.

Most of the criticism you hear about it, memory hog, slow, annoying is just propaganda, i have a fairly modest laptop with intel graphics and Vista business, I have aero and every other major "Wast of time dumb memory hog" feature enabled.

Sure, Vista has it's quirks, but so does linux, i'd actually say linux has more quirks overall, so to sit back and fire off your blatantly uninformed anti-vista cannons just seems to state that one of Linux's greatest quirks is how completely and unreasonable biased the community is.
