If a particular application is listed under more than one repository, where does "apt-get install" get the application from?

If a application is available form Ubuntu's repositories and also from a third-party repository which I have added under my sources list, where does the application install from? Can I specify which repository it comes from?

ie) Amarok is available from Ubuntu's repo's as well as Medibuntu's repos.

Thanks!

Just noticed there's a typo in the title...should be "Multiple application sources".......not "Mulitple". So, if somebody can change that, that'd be greatly appreciated.

Typically the most recent one, according to the version number. You can force the other one by pressing CTRL+E in Synaptic.

It will pull the highest version available that is why you have to watch when you add third party repositories.

Is there any way to tell Ubuntu to only get "Program X" from "Repo A" and not from "Repo B"?
