Can we make a sticky about No Sound

EDIT: I just noticed there is a sticky on sound issues... However, people still post problems, I'm thinking we need a title that is more eye catching. How about "NO Sound? Click here" The issues seem to deal with configuring ESD if there is sound lag etc... but at least for me, just having ESD running prevents many apps/games from having ANY sound.

Pretty much everytime there is a problem with a game or emu, it's "no sound".

I experienced it myself, and I hope ESD is either gone or fixed in breezy...

So can we please make a sticky since everyone under the sun seems to run into this problem.

My solution is try sudo killall esd, and if that does the trick, disable the sound server in preferences -> sound.

yeah sound seems to be a common problem and hopefully they will fix it in the next round. Not sure if they will make a sticky about it though most folks do a search and find what they need.
