Just a couple more wallpapers made in gimp. Larger sizes available from gnome-look.org

Put these here for laptop users if they want them as gnome-look does not have the option for widescreen. Gnome-look needs updating if you ask me :)


These have to be in .jpg format as the file size are too big for this forum. If you want png just ask. Enjoy. :)

Thanks for providing 1280x800, because it's my resolution! Nice job on the wallpapers they look very refreshing.

Thanks all. I used to only make them in 1280x800 only, as my laptop is that size but i have now started to do them in 1600x1200 instead and resizing them. I think we need more widescreen wallpapers. Thanks again. :)

Cool, so you have the same resolution as me and you also use a laptop like me xD. You got a link to some other wallpapers you've made?

I have only been doing these for a month or so. There aren't many i have done yet but here is a link to a thread with a few of mine, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=539593 they are scattered throughout so you will have to go through the pages. The last ones are my most recent. I started by doing splash-screens and ii am starting to get a bit more adventurous now i'm getting the hang of the gimp. :) If you want splashscreens have a look on gnome-look.org, i have done about ten of them http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/GnomeDE?content=65870
That link is to the one i did today, if you look to the right there is a link that says 'other content from Paul820', click that.

I will hopefully get better the more i use the gimp. :)

EDIT: Forgot to say, the wallpapers on gnome-look are NOT 1280x800 because they don't have the option for uploading them on there. That's why i put laptop sizes on here.
