download flash from the adobe site.
go to places>computer once there click the pencil and paper icon so it displays a text entry bar
in that area type "~/.mozilla/plugins" when you are there drag the files "flashplayer.xpt" and "libflashplayer.so" to that folder.
go to the site where you want to run flash and try it.
have fun

NOTE: you can download flash 9 at this link
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
open it with archive manager and choose extract.
extract it to desktop and delete the original file
the files i described above will be found in the folder that you just made

another way to do it is to go to youtube (youtube.com) and click a video and a yellow bar appears. click the button "install missing plugins"
press accept (or read it if u want i dont care but if u get in trouble for incorrect use its not my fault)
hit continue
[it downloads and installs]
hit finish
the page will refresh and flash is installed
