I have a DELL Latitude D820 laptop and it is setup to dual boot into Windows XP and Kubuntu 7.4. I order this sytem with a multimedia bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Everything work great in Windows but I am nearly fully migrated into Linux. Right now the one issue I have facing me before I can fully move into Linux (any other family members) is getting the bluetooth keyboard/mouse top work in a reliable fashion. I have used both of the links at UBUNTU Community Documents such as:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BluetoothSetup#head-82b6734db30571f54da4ceaa7254b1b464640156
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BluetoothMouse?highlight=%28CategoryBluetooth%29.

And I have tried various other procedure scattered throughout the Ubuntu forums (dating back to 2005). I have install a fresh copy of Bluez-utils and still my results all seem to be the same, yes the keyboard/mouse work in Ubuntu but after I reboot my stems, I have to reboot (turn each on/off) each bluetooth device before it works. GRUB, forget it; it looks like I will have to keep a wired keyboard connected in order to select which operation system to boot into. Once I boot to the login screen, I am only able to enter my password once I reboot my keyboard & mouse. Is this the best I can expect? Isn't there a way to have my bluetooth devices work at the login screen w/o me having to turn them off and on again? I would like to have them work at GRUB but realize this may not be possible.
