Requesting for Default Button

i'm very new to Ubuntu. I've always been used to Windows environment, having been a user from 3.1 all the way to Vista. Im' also familiar with the mac interfaces.

One of the key features that I would like to see included in 7.10 is a 'default' option in most of the System menu applications.

You mean a "reset to defaults" button, right? That seems like a good idea, at least for some applets.
