well it took me a few days but got it work ( as of now ) i had to do alot of research, ask for help and bug people :) so now heres how to install that fing
netgear wg111v2

first of all plug it in and use the gnome wireless ( for ubuntu 7.04 ) insert everything likr essid wep hey ect.

if this does not work well then install ndiswrapper. ( can be found in the installation cd ). you can find help for ndiswrapper here ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/

after installing try it and see if that doesnt help. if not get closer to use router
( thats how i got mine to work out of range ) if all hope fails well take it back and get another card/usb adapter.

im sorry its short thats how i fixed mine from the point the ndiswrapper doesnt work its on you.

GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND
ASK IS YOUR FRIEND

That won't help. It's rubbish. You don't explain anything in detail at all, simply installing NDIS wrapper will NOT make the card work. You have to go through the process of telling NDIS what drivers to load for the device. Put simply that tutorial is completely useless and won't help anyone set up this card. I can't see how this took you a lot of research. My seven year old sister can provide better information that that, or at least be able to admit she doesn't know what she's doing.
