zsnes and super smart joy

i have a super smart joy and zsnes recognizes all of the buttons but when i try to set the directional buttons nothing happens. any help?

Are you using jscalibrator, kidstar64? That seems to have this effect.

Uninstall it via Add/Remove, that sometimes does the trick for people with these problems. It certainly worked for me, as I was having similar problems until a kindly soul here told me to remove JSCalibrator.

I just replied to another post with the same problem. I am using a Gravis Gamepad Pro. It works fine with my Genesis and NES emulators and in the Joystick Calibrator program. I just now tried removing the Joystick Calibrator program and it still does not work. All the buttons work in ZSNES except the direction buttons.

UPDATE: After uninstalling JSCAlibrator -and- ZSNES and then reinstalling ZSNES it now works. WOOT!
