Quake 1 PAK Files

Anybody know where I can download just the PAK files from shareware Quake?

Should be able to get the needed files in this archive: ftp://ftp.gamers.org/pub/games/idgames2/idstuff/quake/quake106.zip

I don't have time to download it at the moment to check.

It didn't work. I think I have to actually install the game to get to the PAK files.

You should be able to install it via WINE and copy the files.
Sorry like I said I didn't have time to check further.

I don't know of anywhere you can get them alone, just bite the bullet and use WINE to install and then copy the files where they need to go.
