All right, so I felt like gaming yesterday and I did some research into the options on a linux machine. Given that I had UT2K4 and that there are a lot of mods out for it, the choice was pretty simple. So I installed it, got the "mega pack" and downloaded damnation and counter organic revolution. Unfortunately, the latter won't install. It refuses to, because I supposedly do not have the ECE pack installed. So I tried installing that separately. No luck. This is on both my ubuntu machines and it's really bugging me, because the counter organic revolution looks really cool. Any ideas on how to make sure the ECE content is detected?
