Ubuntu 7.04 Gnome: Wait Cursor Always Shown when I move the Pointer to the Desktop

I have Ubuntu 7.04, After a while of using Gnome Nautilus 1.2.8. Now, when I have the pointer over a window (lets say File Browser) the pointer is the standard arrow. However. when I move the mouse pointer outside of the window to any place on the desktop the cursor changes to the wait cursor (circle with flashing dots).


Any Idea what can be causing this
