So, one of my favorite little programs on Windows is called Pixie. It's by Nattyware, and it can be seen at http://www.nattyware.com/pixie.html.
Essentially, it's a tiny little box that you can open over whatever programs you may have open, and as your cursor moves around it tells you the hexadecimal color value, the RGB color value, and the CMYK color value of whatever object your cursor is on. So, if you like a website's color, or your desktop's color, or whatever, you can easily grab it. It lets you hit CTRL C to copy the values.
Is there anything similar for Linux? Thanks!
Jon
