Weird forum search

I just noticed that I get different search results depending on whether I'm logged in or not. That seems strange.:-k

hmm is odd not sure why we are using the default vbulletin search mechanisms..

Sometimes I use that "Unanswered Posts" button and it says "nothing found". That's strange, too.

Yeah. I was searching for an issue I was having with Konqueror and I typed it in in the top right corner and I got a ton of results. I wasn't logged in at the time. Then I noticed that if I logged in and ran the exact same search it only gave me like 5 results.

But I did get Konqueror fixed:D

term1 AND term2deliver a whole bunch of irrelevant results equivalent toterm1 OR term2Most frustrating, but logging in delivers the expected behaviour.

Actually for me it was the other way around. Being logged in and running a search gave me only 5 search results that had absolutely nothing to do with what I was searching for. Being logged out gave me a ton, more relevant results.
