seting up a web server noob at servers

hello i'm going to set up a webserver (it's going to be a lamp web srever.
any way can i use openbox as my gui http://icculus.org/openbox/2/ and can i apt-get it

You can do apt-cache search foo where foo is the application name to search the repositories for an application. I'm pretty sure Openbox in there. You really don't need a GUI for web server administration though, you can just SSH in and edit the configuration files, etc.
