intel x3000 problems

are there any other drivers for the intel x3000

im using the xserver-xorg-video-intel from the ubunu repository and am using driver version 2:1.9.94-1ubuntu3

my problem is i get bad performance in enemy territory and when i launch counter strike source it locks up my computer and have to do a hard reboot

what about envy would i be able to get better drivers

i am still using the same drivers that dell gave me

im running a dell e520n
core 2 duo 1.8
1 gig ram

also i talked to a guy from wine and he told me to make a strace so and launched the game and i have been unable to talk to him since so can any one read them

Envy is only for Nvida/ATI.
If you've tried the availible Intel drivers, you're probably looking at the best you're gonna get for now.

You're best off getting that GeForce card you've been asking about in other threads as you have a decent system. ^_^

yea i am going to get a new card but i just wanted to see if i could get it working until i get the card.
