Forums are hard to navigate even with smart searches.

I suggest letting people delete their own posts (one at a time) to save other users time and save server space.

Equally important, i think moderators should delete any post non useful to resolving a troubleshooting a problem. (like the "dude that sucks" posts).

These two ideas will speed up troubleshooting a lot.

This was brought numerous times.

The option was disabled partly, if not mainly due to abuse of the function.eg: issues where users would delete posts because they were mad etc.

Also when the original post is deleted it takes down the whole thread so if other members have posted in that thread trying to help their posts would be lost as well. Then their the factor of the backyard, if you have a debate going, and feel the posts do not agree with what you feel one can delete their thread. There is to much room for abuse. Thus the delete option is only available to staff.

If you believe your own posts are wasting other users' time and the forum's server space, don't post in the first place instead of posting and then deleting the post later.
