hi im a total noob to linux but i would like help installing ubuntu on a partition on my mac mini (if its possible) so if you could give me a link to the right download and step by step instruction i would be very happy

if you using a ppc processor then download the iso from here (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/feisty/release/)
this to burn the cd link (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto#head-c870784c85d881b96b985bb6f47720add24f13d0)
that will tell you how to burn the cd but i don,t know how to install on a mac sorry

burn the disk image to a CD, then boot from this CD by holding key C or alt during booting. You will then boot into ubuntu, from there you can install
