somatic is one of my all time faves. used it on both mac and pc.

david lanham does some awesome work. it would be great if someone ported it gnome.

You'd probably need a pixmap GTK theme for the background within the window, and a pixmap Emerald theme for the borders (Metacity doesn't handle transparency well). Unfortunately I do not really know how to do either.
