I'm wondering ifanyone has gotten the long awaited HALO2 on PC to work in Ununtu? I know people say it can be played in Shista I mean Visa-killer, I mean Vista.
And if it has been done in Ubuntu please tell me/us how you did it.

I don't think its possible yet.
Might be easier to rent the game and an Xbox.
Its an old game that they are using to boost vista sales, this and all the other "VIsta Only games" I find ridiculous. since the much vaunted dx10 video cards are not on the market yet or if they are aren't available at a reasonable price to the level of users that will purchase the games.

I have it on XBox and am sick of the little thumbstickes I;m much better with a keyboard and mouse and can't find a configurable keyboard and mouse adapter for the XBox and so with my experiementing with Linux thought I would ask the question.

I've played about 5 minutes of it on Vista and it was crappy as hell. I have no idea how they could release the game looking as dodgy as it did. It doesn't even use DX10 tech; you won't miss much.

Current status: massive fail.
