How to make AWN look like OSX Leopard

There's nothing wrong with doing that. Linux is about choice.
Make sure you have the latest version of AWN. In the Preferences control panel (System>Preferences>Avant Preferences) click on the tab that says bar appearance and select 3D Look from the drop down menu.
Bar Angle: 45
Bar Height: 45
Icon Offset: 15

My my, I see someone obviously does not like the Leopard dock. I suggest you go with what suits your taste, no matter what Operating System it belongs to. If you think that Vista has the best GUI and want to imitate that fully, then by all means do so. Same goes for Mac OS. Or you can, like me, mix and match. Whatever suits your taste.

Hey thanks a lot to those that contributed.
I had found out how to imply his effect via Facebook groups regarding Ubuntu.

Regarding your statement, the reason I would like this is because I am an OSX user as well, and Im used to the idea of a dock, just looking for ways to play around with it!

How come my AWN installation doesn't have the drop down box for the 3D option? I built my AWN through SVN. Does this have anything to do with it. I too would like the Leopard look and am extremely jealous. What's up with that? Thanks in advance.
I figured it out. The only thing that bugs me is that I can't change the hight of the icons and I don't know how to get the reflection going. Can someone help me with this?

Yeah that's probably it. The SVN's wayyy outdated now. You might want to try compiling from Bazaar if you really feel like compiling. Otherwise just install from Reacocard's repo.

I think everyone enjoys the smoothness of the apple way... But it is Ubuntu and what I think everyone likes about linux is it tries to be different...
