After a couple hours Compiz Fusion is using up almost 200MB of memory? Is this a bug? Any fix for it? Anyone else seeing the same thing?
When I first login, it's at about 40MB. That seems OK, that's where Beryl usually was, but it usually stayed there though.....

You probably haven't updated all the way, because I have no such problem. Make sure you have the Compiz Fusion repository enabled (such as Trevino's eyecandy repository, and then:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Hmmm. Perhaps it was because I was playing around with all the options and stuff. It's been sitting quietly at 40MB for awhile now. I'm using Trevino's eyecandy repository and I'm totally up to date.
Yep, if you play around with the settings too much it starts using more memory:p
