If people have not yet looked at the gummy(used by clearlooks) engine in gutsy(via new gnome) it is amazing. So I have tuned a theme(based on a few others) to incorporate the custom stylized menu bar from the murrine engine with the new gummy tool bar engine.

If you look at my screenshots below you will see how the toolbar on the application is a different color then the base color. On those tool bars you will notice the split gradient done by the gummy engine. What I would like to know is how do you increase the contrast between the split gradients of the toolbar? Is it possible, by way of input from the gtkrc, without having to hack the gummy engine?

I have attached my theme also. Suggestions welcome.

(this is what I am basing my theme off of http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=31128&forumpage=17)

WARNING: These require the new clearlooks engine from gnome(or Gutsy), and Murrine from the repos.

You can make the toolbar lighter in the gtkrc

I tried them but they didn't look like that. Did I miss something?

Are you using gutsy or the latest gnome? It requires the new clearlooks :( engine and Murrine

"Gummy" is clearlooks now, if you want the theme just compile gtk-engines dev version.
