What to do if I have no rights to empty the recycle bin?

Some files were deleted by others or the rights were not mine, when cleaning the recycle bin, there are lots of errors, it is impossible to skip all of them one by one.

Can I do sudo before empty the recycle bin?

It seems the use of sudo in ubuntu is not very clever. It need a really redesign.

Hi there,

The surest way to resolve your problem is to "sudo rm -R" your trash.

It seems the use of sudo in ubuntu is not very clever.I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Ubuntu's sudo works the same way any other Linux's does.
