*I am going to go out on a limb here*

So I have some ideas
So I have some designs and concepts
So I have all kinds of open projects

so what

what do I do with them?

Ever since I can remember I was always a dreamer
free from structure and conformity
free from meaninglessness

I have an agenda
I have a plan
and I have the ambition to overcome
anything that stands in my way

I just can't do it all by myself

I have a wandering mind
wandering from idea to idea
thought from thought
project to project
with the hope that I might in some way
make an impact on the future of technology
I have so much creative potential

I don't know how programmers do what they do
but I do know that it takes determination
will-power
and unyielding effort

However being a rebel without a cause never achieves anything

I can give you a cause
I can give you a reason
I can give you concepts, ideas, and designs
that may literally revolutionize
the way people interact with computers

I have nothing conclusive or final
I have no code to show you
I have no mock-ups

I do have
pages and pages of notes and details
pages and pages of sketches and storyboards

That I have spent hours upon hours
of brainstorming
with tons and tons of
research and consideration
put into almost every little detail

I am going to warn you
the projects that I propose will not be easy
they are not simple cookie-cutter solutions
but rather
a whole new beast
a whole new take
and most importantly
a whole new approach

if you are interested then drop me a line
and I will tell you just exactly what I have in mind
thank you for you time

now all you need is money for the 1000 programmers

No he doesnt. Your probably working on the most important proof of that.

He just needs 1000 driven programmers...

Just like Linus Torvalds got eventually

its not about the money
it is about the satisfaction of making a difference

I need more then just programmers
I need partners, developers, and people
who want to make a difference
I need incentive

I am tired of standing on the shoulders of giants
I am tired of always wanting more
but having to pay an arm and a leg for it
I am tired of having the greatest ideas ever
and not being able to use them for my own profit

I am not just a geek who loves to play around on computers
designing software is my life my dream and my purpose

My vision is role specific operating systems

My dream is object driven software design

Touch all the time

I you want people help you, study your ideas to make them reality, WE need more than ideas. Make schemas, make (fake) screenshot, make mockup, make code !
Not all the code of course, but a window with two menu items and an inline window for example, to showhow your program is.
Nobody will start a project if he doesn't who where it go

I read you would start learning code, do you ?

:lolflag: still haven't seen a real idea, besides some generic idealistic talk (wich is good as a starting point, but the second step of actually advancing some ideas is vital to make some difference, don't you agree?).
Start brainstorming first! :KS

Oh the arrogance. :)

"Attitude is no substitute for competence".

The world is full of people who imagine they have the greatest ideas ever, but who don't have the ability or the perseverance to actually make anything happen. Then when they face up to their own incompetence, they complain that others didn't do their work for them, or just move to the next pie in the sky project.

What exactly is it that you're able to contribute? It seems to me you just like the idea of lording it over your "associates" as some sort of Fountain of Ideas, while they labour away doing all the work.. ;)
