As we all know Ubuntu is one of the greatest OS never make... in the 21 century. And that is true for most of the people who have use it.

For myself, I can't go back to Windows any more, especially it become worest and worest. We are the controller of the computer, we shouldn't be limited by the OS. we should be able to do whatever we want with it. However, bacuase the huge fundation Windows have build in the last decades. It is just too hard to see a linux base computer out there.

Of course, we can have as much as fun in our house or office because we are able to install linux on the computer. but not anywhere else. Today, with the some great USB drive are avaliable. Our dream are one step closer. Don't you think it will be great if we are able to bring our Ubuntu where even we go? Use it on any computer as we want in just a min without doing anything the Original system on that computer? How about Hacking without any evidence one a computer? (Well this one is a joke, but it is possible to be done hehe....)

If we are able to install ubuntu on a flash USB drive, all of those can be happen in no time. In fact, it has been done by a lot of people and some Linux company. The one problem is, it is not so easy to get this done for some one that is new to Linux. We can create a Version of Ubuntu that can install Ubuntu on a USB drive with a few click ("USBuntu"). It would be great to any one who would like to Taste the sweetness of linux. This can really happen grow the Linux commuty and the computer age. Let jump of that "Windows" and fly to the "Free"dom. (Joke again)

Really. I would love to start a commuty on the project of USBuntu. And it would be great if there are more people out there who insterest on this would give me a hand. haha My computer style are so limited especially on linux. I am not new to liunx but not great neither haha. And if for even futher we can try to contact the Ubuntu Studio commuity and work together with it. you know create something like USBuntu Studio. Will be even Better....

Every thing above say really dreaming. But every thing happen because "I have a Dream... "

I recall the stories of Mr Bell trying to sell his patents to Western Union, and railroads wedded to their rails failing to think of them selves as being in the transportation business. more recently we who are adopting open source can thank bill gates for getting wide spread use of the internet in place [allowing me to down load 7.04] without a market open source would be way behind [rail roads may have built commerce across this country B4 the interstate hwy] but sorry bill we are moving on. adapt or perish. vista just sucks. [my wife's lap top came with it.] adopting Ubuntu is easier than going to vista. ie no drivers for the network printers, latest app software needed to be purchased too. wiping off my crystal ball I expect xp to hang around far longer than vista. I also expect great market share gains by open source.

Agreed with you mate. No doubt windows in long run improvised our internet needs and let open source to flourish and reach to us. But Vista is what you call devil in disguise but can't beat the good old open s:popcorn:ource.
