I don't know what I did but suddenly
my panels disappeared (the upside and downside something like start bar or start menu of XP)
so now I can't do anything I'm like a blind man now
help me to reinstall or re something it
please !!!!

Hmm maby you can try to kill the gnome-pannel process... and then i guess it woud be back...

to find process id: "sudo ps aux"

to kill process: sudo kill -9 <process id>
