I'm a new user for Ubuntu..... I had download the Samba Package at www.samba.org
After that, i try to insall the samba....but unsucessful....

So i need yours help....


root@ubuntu:~/Desktop/Ubuntu/samba-3.0.14a/source # ./configure
SAMBA VERSION: 3.0.14a

There are packages for samba available. Have a look at the Ubuntuguide:
