Set the sound of terminal

Hello!
I use Linux either at work than at home, but at work I've got a workstation and at home I've got a laptop.
When i use the terminal with the workstation, when I'm at the end of the line, or when I press the backspace and I get the start of the line, or when I press the tab key for the automatic compleatation and it can't complete, the computer sounds a beep (i think from the inside).
Obviusly my laptop can't. Can I set this sound with a normal sound?
