Hi all.
I was checking MorphOS out and was wondering if anyone uses or have used it, I'm hunting down a PegasosII so I can actually try it out for myself but that piece of hardware is kind of hard to find, I know I can buy myself a cheap EFIKA but that's no way to use a Amiga like OS.
On a subnote, I miss the day when operative systems made any sense, real intuition is long gone :(.
Edit: If anyone reading this has a PegasosPPCII stored in the closet, please don't hesitate to let me know :).

Hey... im not sure if this is any help. i'm not up to speed with hardware needed to run MorphOS, or the newer Amiga OS's for that matter

In all honesty if there was a way of getting hardware and a copy of AmigaOS 4.0 i wouldn't mind going back into the world of Amiga, my first computer steps when i was a kid was with an commodore amiga 500, and i have many fond memories... anyhow sorry if the link isn't any help.

Unfortunately he won't ship outside the UK, but thanks anyway.
You can run MorphOS on the now dead PegasosPPC plattform and it's getting ported to EFIKA (https://www.pegasosppc.com/store.php), unfortunately EFIKA is kind of very low end and it's not suitable for a desktop environment.
Amiga Inc and Hyperion (the developers of Amiga OS4) is in court, both demanding the rights to that OS. As I understand it, if Amiga Inc wins, they will try hard to find a company that can provide the motherboards for a new Amiga One and if Hyperion wins they will port the OS to multiple platforms.
I root for Amiga Inc, cause I don't want a new OS for the inferior x86 platform and I want a OS designed for a optimized hardware, at least if that hardware is a new Amiga =).
I want a OS not based on *nix.

I know what you mean. I like Linux, and other Unix derivatives, but sometimes it is good to try other things. Like Menuet, or MonaOS. And of course AROS. :D
