I downloaded and installed BLAG last night, and I am fairly impressed. Although the package selection is a bit unorthodox, it seems like a well put together distribution. And since when did Red Hat based distributions use apt-get? Anyway, what I am looking for are some opinions on BLAG. Chat it up.

Any distribution can use apt-get, as far as I know. It's still using RPMs, though. Blag is based on Fedora, and it's pretty cool. PCLinuxOS is based on Mandriva, uses RPMs, and has Synaptic Package Manager.

Why did you tire of it?

RPM based systems don't sit well with me. Also Fedora at the time wasn't that great and being based on it was a problem. Fedora seems to have improved since that time though.

Blag is OK. I used it for a while. I didn't have many issues with it.
