Singleplayer RPGs?

Hello everyone, I was wondering, what RPGs are around? Similar to The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind or Icewind Dale, maybe? I've searched a bit, but there don't seem to be many RPGs about(can't say I'm surprised, developers don't seem to want to make those any more).

This is important: It would be very nice if you could suggest free(gratis) games, because at the moment, I'm not up to spending money.

Morowind is a massive undertaking as a development.

One possible game to satisfy your desire is Eisenstern but it's not yet released so you'll have to grab it from CVS:

@rasdol: Yeah, I had NWN before, didn't like it too much. I lost the CDs anyway, so I might as well forget about it. Thanks, though.

OK, I understand you're trying to help, but as I said I was looking for some free(gratis) games, because I don't have any money to spend on games at the moment.
