I'm not gonna even look at Intrepid anymore for at least a month. I uninstalled the RC this afternoon, and even with all the updates so far it still looks to me like a huge step back from the Beta. It treated my Nvidia card like a big poopyhead and Firefox was slow (not rendering pages, but the actual interface, like switching tabs, typing, oopening the sidebar, etc). Enjoy your seeding, I won't be leeching.

WOW. I truly am amazed at the bumposity this bump thread really bumps at. <y last bump was at 16804 and here i am at 1705x. It like im in the future...now! Bizzaro! Bizzar0!

Anyway, Azureus is the best torrent client out there (its called Vuze now, but i dont use it for what they claim it can do. The only downside: HUGE footprint. So alls yous whos uses olds hardware...s, mights wannas uses somethings-s likes Transmission, or that other one.

I had never really had a PC before 2003(when I first got my own PC, instead of a stupid share with someone deal, £145 the thing cost me, and it had a whole 32MB of ram second hand, those where the days...), before that I used to use my granddads, but I was only really allowed to play about on it for a couple of hours at a time, he thought I'd hurt myselfs or something if I played on it too much(I was 14/15 at the time, so no idea what his problem was).

Well, after the upgrade to Intrepid, im stuck in the CLI.
The "Cleaning" option in the upgrade program, removed EVERY program i had, even things the system needed.

And here i am, posting this in windows. This seems to have happened to many people (Upgrade forum) (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=333), and even if i get her back up somehow, i would have to install every single program i think (tell me if im wrong).
So i think i will reinstall ubuntu, Intrepid.
