don't bother, I've found a better method, it involves a delayed loop, wget a perl script, and a really loud audio file to be played when we get to a page ending in 99. Uses a bit more ram than I would like though, still, I'm planning to upgrade my ram at some point.

Nice thinking! What you don't know is that I can write a similar thing that uses less memory and posts a bump for me, thus giving me an advantage over you!

yeah, on the original disgaea I've got an army of them(about 30, all top level, around 3,000 reincarnations, huge stats, top level equipment etc), I'm not a fan of the class's stats, but they look the coolest so meh.

Rather than using perl to wait, why not just set up a cron job to run your script every 30 seconds? :P

There's an easy test, change the number between the /'s on line 16 to say 5 save and run(from a terminals best so you can test it).
