Open up the compizConfig and click the "Profiles & Backend" in the lower left. Choose Default and click import. If that doesn't work don't worry. I forgot exactly what do do, it was just something on that tab.

when i click import button i get a file browser box which asks me to find a .profile file.. i dont know where that is so it didnt help..


is there any other way?

how about uninstalling and re-installing.

sudo aptitude remove compiz compiz-fusionthen use the same guide you used for installation. Vorian's or the other one ElemSomethingOrTheOther
