I am fairly new to Linux and am having trouble getting WoL to work.
I am using a Dell pc, that used to have XP, on as a music server for my Squeezebox. I have put Ubuntu 7.04 on but I cant get the WoL function to work when I power up my squeezebox. When XP was running and the pc was in standby/hibernate I could wake up the server by turning on the Squeezebox. This sent the magic packet to the nic and woke it up but I cant get this to work with Ubuntu. If I can get thios to work I will be able to put the pc away in the garage and run it headless which is what I wish to do.
Please help me, if I cant get this to work with Linux I may have to go back to XP. I DONT want to do this because I am getting more used to Linux.
