View Full Version : Panel Theme Color Problem

I've made a GTK theme that includes a background image for my panel (I'm using Xfce). It works fine except for 2 problems I've noticed:

1. I'm not sure how to explain this, but the background of the network manager in my system tray seems to be the image I'm using for the panel background. In other words, it overlaps the panel image. If you look carefully, you can notice it in the image below (you may need to zoom in a bit). So far only the network manager exhibits this behavior, and I have no idea why.

2. Some apps, such as Orage and Quod Libet, have a background color of the "normal background" (aka bg[NORMAL]), as opposed to having a transparent background to let the panel's background image be visible, or at least displaying the color I've set for the panel itself. As you can see in the image below, the Orage icon's background color is #E6E6E6, instead of being transparent, or displaying the color set for the panel (#242424).

Any help with these bugs would be appreciated.
