This is a kernel patch. current version in kernel 2.6.10 is 0.8.

This increases the support for IBM thinkpads quite a lot.

If not directly in kernel, please as a dep package.

I think this is now in kernel 2.6.13-rc3.

Just checked the source of kernel 2.6.13-rc3....
Still version 0.8 !

This should be a ubuntu patch to the kernel or as a module in a dep package.
It is only one single source file.
