oblivion cedega suddenly slow

been playing oblivion w/cedega fine for a while, even this morning.....suddenly this afternoon when i started it it rand extremely slow, 1 frame every 1-2 seconds

any ideas?

far as i know nothing changed...
haven't updated cedega
no beryl running

Assuming you payed for cedega, ask on their forums, more expertise. If its a pirate copy, your pretty much on your own.

Had you been changing things in the game console?

Oblivion seems to easily take offense to setting changes made via the console, from my small amount of experience with it.

E.g. If you were playing in god mode, when you left the game, when you come back you will be most likely overloaded & barely able to move, you can also have goodies for your character from very superior levels, that will crash the game.

90% chance that your video drivers need to reinstalled. If you used a program like ENVY (and have a nvidia card) or the Nvidia installer you have re-install video drivers after you update your kernel.
